Universal Studios Hollywood Celebrates ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ with
Annual Eyegore Awards, Honoring Hollywood Horror Icons
At Southern California’s Premier Halloween Event

Universal City, CA, September 21, 2012 – Universal Studios Hollywood celebrated the highly-anticipated opening of “Halloween Horror Nights” today with the annual presentation of the Eyegore Awards, honoring horror genre’s top stars and filmmakers. “Halloween Horror Nights” runs on select nights through October 31.

This year’s Eyegore Award honorees included Oscar®-nominated Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, renowned for the “Hellboy” films and “Pan’s Labyrinth.” Del Toro will continue his reign of horror as Executive Producer of Universal Pictures’ supernatural thriller “Mama,” opening January 18, 2013.
